10 days, 4 states, 5 different beds

We just returned (okay we got back a week ago) from our whirlwind tour of the east coast.


MD, DC, VA, and GA.


We had a fabulous time and Em was a trooper. She actually travelled better than we did.

We discovered that the key to travelling with a toddler is to bring their car seat. Em flew like a champ and was a gem in our many hours of driving around. She was in her seat and she let us know it! I heard the following phrase more times than I could count "Mamma's Rental Car. Emmie's Seat"


There's nothing more rejuvinating than spending time with family and old friends. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life and am sad we don't get to spend more time together.


Next year. .. less stops. . more days. . . .


I didn't take many pictures (see above . . . ) but here are a few of my favorites. I will post pictures that other's took in the next post.
